Foundation
The beginning of Bachmann and its history of shelter solutions.
Dry-air storage
First humidity-controlled shelters, used for naval aviation reserves. Over 40 years, more than one million m³ of dry-air storage follow.
First exports
Shelters for the fighter aircraft of a European air force, then storage for armoured vehicles and air defence equipment in the Middle East.
Gulf War and Toulouse
A 23,000 m³ hangar for an air force engaged in the Gulf War, then a hangar for a new long-range airliner in Toulouse.
Shelters for forces abroad
More than 600 storage and maintenance shelters of 260 m² deployed in the Balkans, Afghanistan and Africa.
NBC protection and decontamination
First collective NBC protection systems (COLPRO), then decontamination units for civil security.
Two 150-bed field hospitals
Two 150-bed field hospitals with technical blocks for a European military health service.
Hurricane Sandy & Emilia
Emergency shelters deployed in New York after Hurricane Sandy and in Emilia, Italy, after the earthquake. A military camp is also delivered in the Middle East.
Sahel operations
Long-standing support to overseas military operations in the Sahel.
COVID-19 response
Field hospitals during the pandemic, including the 68-bed emergency hospital in Central Park, New York.
